Opened by the Walden family in 2011, Walden's is located in one of the few historic commercial buildings left on Burgettstown's Main Street. The building's period tin walls and ceilings have been restored to their former glory. Our staff members care about every aspect of their diners' pleasure. Chef Rick uses his nearly 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry to put a new spin to traditional, comfort foods. Instead of a traditional western omelet for breakfast, try a western wreck. What’s a wreck? It’s the ingredients of the omelet plus home fries, “wrecked” together and topped with cheese. Or, try a Shredded Italian Sandwich... the meat that goes into a traditional hoagie, chop it up, grill it then put it on “inside-out” Italian bread. Or a Hot Stuffed Bowl... meatloaf in a bread bowl topped with gravy with potatoes on the side. If you prefer the traditional version, Chef Rick can whip that up too.
We are open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week and for dinner three nights a week. Planning a party, meeting or special occasion? We can accommodate groups up to 50.
